An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Trowbridge Ford as a Parts Advisor. Working in our busy department, assisting our customers, workshop and other motor traders with parts related enquires, sales and stock maintenance. previous experience in a similar role is essential.

Good Communication skills are required for this position as you need to maintain excellent relationships with both colleagues and suppliers.

As a Parts Advisor you will be responsible for maintaining stock levels in the stores, ordering specialist parts as they are required and undertaking inventory checks to make sure all parts ordered are delivered and are the correct parts required.

In order to qualify for the Parts Advisor role you must have experience working in the vehicle parts field, be computer literate, have excellent customer service skills and have a valid UK driving licence.


  • Be the first point of contact for all parts enquiries providing a knowledgeable and efficient service. Communicate with customers both face to face and over the telephone building rapport and qualifying the customer's requirements.
  • Qualify all trade customers and ensure customer expectations and requirements are identified, and managed.
  • Monitor stock levels and manage re-order process for essential stock items.
  • Undertaking inventory checks to make sure all-parts ordered are delivered and are the correct parts needed.
  • Participate in the annual stock check.
  • All parts to be recorded and booked out.
  • Handling warranty claims processing whilst adhering to manufacturer requirements.

Monday to Friday 8:00am – 17:30pm with half an hour for lunch.

Alternate Saturdays 8:00am – 17:00pm (Overtime paid for 4 hours)

Salary Competitive / Negotiable (Depending on experience)
