Islington Motor Group are looking for an experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician to join our busy workshop, working on all makes & models, including motorhomes.
Generous basic salary of up to £36,000 p.a subject to qualifications & experience, plus monthly bonus scheme worth up to £2,400 per year and overtime paid at time and a half. Genuine £40k OTE package.
This is a full-time permanent role, working a standard Monday - Friday 08.30am - 5pm and Saturdays on a rota basis of approximately 1 in 4, paid at the overtime rate.

The key responsibilities for this position will include;
-
Undertake diagnostic activities to identify causes and solutions for customer vehicle issue

Complete all types of servicing work
-
Carry out repairs on brakes, suspension and exhaust systems

Class 4 & 7 MOT's

Carry out MOT failure/Advisory repairs

Pre-delivery inspection on new vehicles

Work within Health & Safety guidelines

To maintain and update your individual experience, skills & knowledge through funded training both mandatory & optional
Whilst being an MOT tester isn’t a mandatory requirement, it would be an advantage but further training can be provided in order to achieve this qualification.
A full UK driving license and appropriate Automotive qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) are required.
